Everything is AI now. Chatbots, refrigerators, recommendation systems, toothbrushes. When one label describes everything, does it still explain anything? Sven would like a word. Preferably several.
AI hype
Apparently everything is AI now. Your phone, your fridge, your toothbrush, your socks if marketing gets its way. Sven would like to know what happened to words meaning things, and why “AI-powered” has become a substitute for explaining what a product actually does.
Every company on Earth has decided that adding AI to their product is now a matter of survival. The result is a technology industry trapped in a synchronized panic attack where chatbots appear in everything, nobody slows down long enough to ask why, and somewhere right now an executive is trying to put GPT into a toaster.
AI didn’t make our work shallow. It just exposed how often thinking had already been replaced by speed, repetition, and the illusion of productivity. When judgment disappears from the process, the output can look impressive and still mean nothing at all.
From AI therapists who suggest yoga to consultants who think “prompt engineering” is a superpower, welcome to Sven’s brutally honest survival guide through the nonsense-filled jungle of modern machine hype.
